The First Middle East Vegetarian Congress was held during December 6-7, 2010 in Dubai UAE, that was organized by MeVeg (Middle East Vegetarian Group, with support from the Middle East Natural & Organic Product Expo 2010 and endorsement from Dubai Health Authority. This Congress concluded with a special video conference addressed by guest of honor Supreme Master Ching Hai who agreed to share her thoughts on the necessity of organic vegan diet in halting climate change and sustaining the planet.
